MW4 DMZ retains the fan-favorite Active Duty Operator system with enhanced persistence, trait assignment slots, and per-operator extraction streaks. Below is the verified intel currently published by Activision, with placeholders pre-configured for Early Access telemetry.
Individual Loadout Retention
Each operator slot preserves its own customized backpack size, equipped plate carrier vest, gas mask durability, killstreak, and self-revive kit upon exfiltration.
Exfil Streak Perks
Completing DMZ orders and successfully extracting without dying stacks exfil streak points, unlocking progressive in-match passive tactical perks.
Operator Trait Slots
New to MW4 DMZ: Operators can be tuned with persistent specialized Traits (Scavenger, Vanguard, Medic, Infiltrator). Exact unlock criteria will be updated on Oct 20.
While the existence of Operator Traits has been officially confirmed by development leads, specific numerical trait stat tables and operator skin bonus packs have not yet been released. In accordance with our Zero Speculation Policy, detailed trait trees are locked until confirmed in-game.
